Fuel and air shooting out my carb...

Post by JustynCRX »

So like the title says I have fuel and air shooting back out my carb. I was doing my weekly check on my scooter and happened to have the air filter off and noticed what looked like air coming out of my carb. So i put my hand just in front of the inlet and felt air being shot out. I looked at my hand it it had fuel on it too. Could I possibly have bar reeds? Where can I get a set of CF reeds for SE50?

Depending on how much fuel there is, it could well be normal. All 2 strokes have a lot of revision. * even 4 strokes have some. If it is a lot and the thing is hard to start, you could have bad reeds.

It is VERY hard to start, and theres a decent amount of fuel in my air filter. Where could I get some nice aftermarket reeds for this thing?

Hahaha 2 strokes having "revision!"

That phenomena is "reversion"

OP- You may have more wrong that just a broken reed. Work smart and check things out properly.

I did not say the reeds were bad. I said they could be bad.

No "I" said they were bad. I just pulled them out and they are very warped and not sealing all the way.
