Post by jetlag »

ill be getting my temp gauge anyday now and would like to know what temps i should be seeing when im riding my bike. general guideline would do like temps at idle,1/4,1/2,3/4 add wot. bore is a 72cc mhr and a malossi crank if that matters with boost matched and yea its a dio motor.

It doesn't matter what the setup is. For air cooled 2 strokes its going to be the same no matter the setup.

you don't want to be in the 420+ range. 450 is melting point for the piston. Wot you want to see around 380 is good. That's your only concern. If your at any throttle position below 3/4 , temps will normally be below 350 unless you have a air leak somewhere or compression is to high for the octane fuel your using or your jetting is to lean

i wouldnt worry to much about the temp at idle. it will change everyday you fire it up.
