1987 elite help needed!!!!

Post by 88elitenh »

My friends mother bought an 87 elite 50cc and when you ride it it sways back and forth and the steering seems very hard. Tires are new. The front on these bikes is totally different from my 88. Can someone help me out, and maybe post a pic of there front end so i can see if they are the same. thanks

You can swap the forks from a 1988 elite to a 1987 elite.

Sounds like the bearings need looked at.

1987 scooters had no bearing race.....so some may have fallen out.
new best 1/8th mile time 9.647 seconds @67.155 mph 310lbs total weight
