Gas not flowing from tank

Post by gravano »

2000 Honda Elite SR50
So I put a new petcock on and cleaned the carb but gas isn't flowing.
Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Are the lines connected properly? The bottom nipple on the petcock goes to the intake manifold and the top on to the carb.
You can always just suck on the lower line and fuel should flow out the upper nipple.

Yeah sucking on the vaccum tube brings gas. Maybe the lines are too loose on the nipple.

Tightening the hose around the vacuum nipple solved my problem.
Thanks everyone!

Make sure you nip off the end of those hoses if you didnt replace them. Tightens them up even more!
