85 just rode now won't start

Hello, I just took my newly purchased 85 spree for a 30minute ride with new gas and new oil. It ran great. All lights and blinkers worked. The horn doesn't work. Got home and parked it for about 20 minutes and now it won't start. When I press the started it just sputters out. If I try to give it a little gas while pressing the started the sputters turns into a buzzing/squealing noise. Where should I start? When I turn they key both blinkers work but the headlight doesn't.

Okay, I took the battery out and charged it about 15minutes and it started right up. Dp I have an electrical problem? Or maybe a bad battery?

your headlight will not come on until it is running, i would start by looking at the grounds and make sure that they are clean and make good connection. then i would look for any shorts against metal or to each other(wires touching). while it is running make sure it is charging the battery it might have a bad charging system.

The headlight is NOT suppose to come on until the engine is running, so there is nothing wrong there.

Check the battery and charging system. The checks are in the service manual.
