Gas gauge not working and oil light on.

Ok I got the thing running. Now the issue is the oil light is stuck on and the gas gauge doesn't work. When I 1st got the scooter the oil light wasn't on. It has oil and gas in it. All other things on the cluster work.

Oil level is low or the oil switch has an issue. Open wires or a short except in the switch will not turn on the oil lamp
