Honda elite E swap to se50 forks??

hey guys i heard the front end of the 87 elite with the spring type front end is a bolt on affair for the elite e i have.. i was wondering if i fan use my same handlebars or will need to swap to the matching handle bars.. or is this swap really needed? the front end on this scoot looks flimsy thanks steve

you can use the same handle bars or swap them, it is your choice.

I would do the fork swap AND do a sa50 front tire/brake setup as well.

thanks for the info- im assuming the sa50 wheel got more meat on it? with the elite front end i also could run a metro wheel right?

the sa50 is different then the se50 front end? will the sa50 bolt up on my elite e?

Greetings:

SA, SE are useless terms that confuse only. '94- later SA50 Elites got bigger 95mm drum hubs, much more Whoa-power than '93-earlier scooters. 95mm brake panel means 2.15"x10 TUBELESS Metropolitan wheel fits too. Next-best thing to a disc if you plan to go fast.

im assuming i can run the metro rim and brake panel with the se50 1987 elite es forks?



thanks for help everyone--- just got hit with a huge blizzard and was out 24 hours plowing... now i got to find time to finish my elite
