Fuel filter ???

Hey you guys does the 86 spree have a fuel filter ??? And does anyone know how to remove the gas tank step by step ??? I'm doing another vital tune up and this time I'm cleaning out the tank

There is only a screen at the opening where the petcock is. Remove the tank 4 bolts, disconnect the petcock remove the petcock. When you remove the petcock you will see a small plastic piece underneath. pop it out and clean it.

I was thinking of cutting the fuel line and just attaching the filter
