Stuck at 36mph
Hello all, I have a 1999 Elite S. It has about 1150 miles on it. When I bought it, it would top out at 23 MPH. Since then I have drilled out the exhaust washer, Varaitor restrictor removed and put in a 78 main jet. But I can't get over 36-37 MPH. I thought I read I should be able to get to 42 or so? I was reading a new belt and rollers but thought that only having 1150 miles on it that they should be fine. Also looking into a performance variator.

A new belt and variator should do the trick to get you just under 40mph.
new best 1/8th mile time 9.647 seconds @67.155 mph 310lbs total weight

Thanks for the reply Jamz. Im going to have to get another order in. I just want to make sure that there is nothing wrong. I read about people going 42 Mph with just a couple destrictions and no mods.
