This is a good place to find stuff. http://japan.webike.net/ps/#!p.m=5903&p.c=1140&p.sk=1
As far as the wires go, maybe sanjuro can help you. Not many real Dio's here in the states.
Best of luck!

Yea I was checking webike out got some great stuff on there but I'm not 100% on my exact model or year... Getting conflicting thoughts from the parts... It has drum brakes on the front... But a zx badge. And the import papers say it's a 1990 *correction*

Check the v.i.n. to see if it matches. The number on the scooter can verify the year and exact model.

You definitely have a Live Dio AF34. It is not a ZX model.

JDM scoots do not come with kill switches as you have discovered. I will try to photograph a wiring scheme for you.

Also, the label on the inside of the seat bucket will tell you exactly which year model you have. Shoot it my way and I'll tell you what I find.

I have to figure out how much I paid for it and Ill shoot you a PM. Im pretty sure of the price but I want to be sure.
Also Id like to get a picture of your plug on the other side to be sure it will properly fit. One question, do you have a stock USDM cdi from another honda elite that you can take a pic next to the CDI you have for comparison? If not can you get measurements from yours? It half way looks like a DC CDI due to the size of it. Im pretty certain that there was some years of JDM dios that used DC CDIs. If it is a DC CDI than this malossi unit wont work for you.

After further research the CDI I have will not work for af35 engines. Im now more certain than before you have a DC CDI.
