I apologize as this is for the Honda Motocompo, kinda similar to the spree (in the sense that is a 50cc 2 stroke vintage honda scooter)...I've got no where else to ask the question lol.
I'm trying to remove the wheel bearing from the front wheel...but i put it in a press and it will not come out before wrecking something...
I'm going to give it a shot with penetrating oil to try and free it up (its from 1981 after all!) but I'm just wondering if perhaps its considered a "throw away" rim where the bearings are un-serviceable? Are the Spree wheels throw away? Do I have to press the bearings out a certain direction (aka, out toward the drum side)
I know the front forks on the motocompo are not serviceable...and only one fork leg actually does anything. The other side is just a dummy! Man they built these things cheap!
I appreciate the advice.

I believe you need a bearing puller. Tusk makes a version of this. Basically, a slide hammer.

Greetings:
That's the tool to use, but caution: Whacking bearings on the inner race to pull them renders them very iffy for re-use. The force is transmitted through the balls/rollers to the outside race which is a friction fit to the hub. Such treatment may make them fail quickly in use. Installation with a correctly-sized bearing drift (Or socket...) pushes the outside race, sparing the rollers/balls from percussion.

Ok...so a bearing press won't work? I'm trying to press them out on a bearing press shop tool, does it not do the same thing as the puller (just in opposite direction?)
Let me know

Greetings:
It may be possible to push on the mini-"axle" (Part #5 in the pic) and not abuse the bearing on the opposite side as bad as a hammer might. It's not clear how a press could remove either side without pushing against the inner race.
