90 degree tube valve stems
Anyone using these? I can't get air in my straight valve stems
at gas stations as the hub is too close to use theirs.
I'm getting new tires and tubes anyway and just want to know if others use the 90 degree stem valve to make the air filling easier.

I had em on mine about 6 yrs ago, was great, easy to fill. Someone stole them, and have been too lazy to get new ones.

Re:
Que? Is that an attachment for a regular air nozzle? I tried 3 diff places today and none of them had an air hose that would fit, can I just bend the valve stem a little or will this damage the inner tube? It was very difficult getting those tires on the rims, I would hate to have to do it again.....berreta22 wrote:The bike tire pump should do fine. Dont forget about the ciggy lighter type compressors too..they work also.
Re: 90 degree tube valve stems
If you try to bend the valve stem it will either break off or crack and then leak.

Re: 90 degree tube valve stems
I have 90 degree stems and they work, they dont rub, Just make sure you point the rear tire valve stem to the belt side and not the muffler side.
Re: 90 degree tube valve stems
no it goes towards the exhaust. if you put it toward the case, it'll hit it.
