Rattling Noise

So got my spree running and I noticed there's a rattling noise and it sounds like it's coming from inside the belt drive cover has anyone had this problem ? It doesn't affect anything it's just annoying any help is appreciated thanks, D.

Open the cover, Your crank nut may be loose. This is the one toward the front of the engine if you are unfamiliar with these bikes.

Every thing was tight would a bad belt cause it ?

didnt believe the answers you got on the other forum i see lol. Its funny because the answer remained the same... Pull the cover and look...

Yes, a bad belt, especially one with some bits starting to unravel will cause much unwanted rattle.

I agree on this. Having seen my share of trashed belts on various machinery. Another source of a rattle could also piston slap. Or a clutch issue.
