2001 Elite 50S
I just put my polini bbk kit on today. When I went to put the reeds in the original gasket tore when I removed it. Any reason I cant just use rtv? The original covered the screws which I can loctite them in.
Also I have a stock carb, airfilter and exhaust which I opened up the hole. I installed a 90 main jet do you think I'll be close?
Also what spark plug do you guys recommend?
Thanks for any help I'm new to the scooter stuff.

Re: Polini BBK reed gasket
Greetings:
Gaskets are cheap, and their thickness is often factored into the design. You can use goo on this low-temp reed valve block, but a good seal here is pretty critical. Hondamstillmsells the gaskets. Make sure you don't have too much goo running out. It can foul the reeds.
