Post by DeanP »

What would the max operating temp at wot for my Polini Contessa? What should it be normal 1/2 throttle riding be?
I'm trying to figure out what my mj sizing should be in the end based on max temp and best throttle response.
Thanks in advance.

Greetings:

Cast iron is tough. Aluminum piston maybe not so much. 400 is the safety ceiling.

Taller does not equal cooler, you're way off. Taller= more stress on the engine= more heat.
