Wire guage?

Post by Ruckenstein »

I need to buy some connectors for some trimming to a harness. Anyone know the right size guage connectors to get? It's for an aero 80 scooter it appeared to be the same diameter as a spree harness I have compared it to.

I think for the most part, the size for 14 ga. wire will be acceptable.
Heavier gauge for wires from battery to solenoid and ground.

I agree with Mike not much on an aero 80 that 14 gauge won't cover. I have a feeling that the majority of the harness is 18 gauge so 14 or 16 gauge will be totally safe. 12 gauge or 10 gauge would be fine for battery and ground I think.
