First of all I have to say thank you to everyone here, got my aero from not starting to running with only help from y’alls previous posts. Anyway, I’m gonna be painting it soon, following the instuctions given by eclark in a thread I read. Neptune blue at the moment, probably will be going to orange. Thinking about painting wheels and exhaust white, and getting a white seat cover. Some questions I have-
Best paint ? I was thinking Krylon Fusion but if you have better ideas lmk
Paint for wheels/exhaust? I was thinking plasti dip for wheels and high heat spray for exhaust
Any tips very much appreciated. Will update and post photos once I figure out how to do that

Re: Aero 50 paint/pretty
Greetings
Exhaust HEADER paint, nothing less, for the exhaust. The pipe gets considerably hotter than a BBQ. Most auto-parts stores carry a can or 2. Plasti-dip will be a nightmare if you have to mount tires. It tends to peel off even well-prepped metal. Just about any paint for the rims, but remember the brake drums get pretty hot too. Adhesion promoter is a good idea to prime the plastics, they seem to have a tendency not to stick very well to paint. Almost nothing works well for the polyethylene floorboards, for example. EClark is the master paint blaster. Weelman, not so much...

Re: Aero 50 paint/pretty
Sweet thank you. For the header paint I could really only find matte- am I stuck with matte for exhaust or can I clear coat and buff it for a gloss?
Re: Aero 50 paint/pretty
Negative,...that gloss gonna burn right off too.
