I have this weird knocking coming from the piston... What do you think it is, and how do I check it?

Anything from a loose heat shield to a bad connecting rod bearing. Check it by removing parts and looking what's underneath.

Thank you. I was cleaning things on the scooter yesterday, and it seemed to start only after the engine had warmed up for a while. However I will check the heat shields and see if anything's loose.Wheelman-111 wrote:Greetings:
