newbie needs help!

I have an 86 spree and it seems to let out a good amount of blue smoke all the time. Is that normal or what? Its got about 2800 miles. And also when running it has a quiet but high pitched noise especially right after lifting off the throttle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

what kind of oil r u using? is it old?

for the high pitched noise look all around the exuast for a hole someone could of drilled. if not on the bottom about 2 inches onto the expansion port drill 1/2 inch hole, that will increse speed. but it will also help clean out carb wich may be causeing the blue smoke. if not try taking off the exause and tourching it red hot that will burn all of the carbon build up.

Your running rich, or your running premix oil instead of injector oil.

Ok thanks for the help, but now I have a bigger problem. When I'm at about 5-10 mph it goes down to veeery low rpms and * around a lot, but some times it just dies completely.

Pull the trans cover off and check the trans out, know what to look for
