Over 11K! It still runs!?! s*** thats a lot of miles. New rings and rehone along with a full decarbonizing are in need.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

No just hone out the stock bore to take out any scoring and to give a "fresh start". Also choeck all the bearings for play.

Get a gasket kit, piston rings and clips from the local Honda PowerSports dealer before you take the motor apart. You cannot tell what condition the cylinder is in without taking it apart.

If it runs good i say all you need is a little brush up.

That, and some new rings and that motor will be like brand new.

Don't spend money to get the cylinder cleaned up. Go to sears and get a small brake cylinder honing kit or small cylinder honer. $19 and some oil and a drill on med speed. Light pressure on the honer. Its EASY smoooth back and forth while hoing. You will use that honer orver the years on anything with a cylinder.

The guys are right, hone and rings. Check the bearings carefully, thats alot of miles. If in doubt, replace. Nothing worse that a bearing going on a 2 stroke, does damage, at least it did on my model airplane engines.
