I don't mean to sound rude or anything but you really need to work on how you present a question to the forum. So far the 2 posts I've just read that you posted have left me wonder "what?". Post more detail like type of moped and what exactly is happening so everyone has a better idea of the systems and problems.

If its a 50cc elite it burns oil cause its a 2 stroke engine.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

As I mentioned in the other thread go get the moped it is clean and looks like it is in great shape, those mopeds are hard to find here in that condition.

does it have a 2 pice belt cover? If so its a 94-01, but if the seller thinks burning oil is a problem he is probably running 30weight in it (NOT GOOD). Ask what oil he is using before buying it, if he isnt running a 2 stroke oil drop your offer to $100.

where are you located? Under $500, but location would get me closer to exact.

I am located in holland MI. He said that there is 5000 something miles on it. What do you think would be a good price for it. He also said that it needs a new battry so that would bring down the price a little bit right?
Thanks for the reply

Ask him what oil he is running, if he says anything besides gn2 or 2 stroke injector oil, dont pay over $300(FSM only knows what the * else he did to it, I only say $300 because the plastic alone is worth that), $400-$500 is more reasonable if he has been running the right oil.
