Where can I buy a high pressure hose for my oil pump??
So,
I am almost done putting the engine on my 83 Aero 50 project together but need to get a hose that goes from my oil pump to the carb...I think it is the fuel line...From what I understand, it is a high pressure hose that has to be clear so that I can look at the bubbles in the line while I bleed it...I have found some at the local hardware stores but nothing with an inside diameter small enough that would fit tight on that connection...Someone suggested going to a small engines place that messes with lawnmowers etc. Any other places you guys know of besides oem???

This is not just a standard vacuum line...This line has to be gas/chemical proof and has to reach a certain psi proof...On top of that, it has to have a certain size inside diameter (which is smaller than usual lines) so that it fits tight on both fittings and it maintains it's higher pressure of air/fuel...
Any one else out there more knowledgeable on this one?? My local Honda scooter dealership does not have universal tubing in stock and don't want to spend the money on OEM as it is way more than this line should be...

Yea, those little oil pumps venting into the atmosphere sure do pump 3000psi.po89mm wrote:check you local napa store, i know the one near me stocks/ makes hydraulic hoses.
your not going to get more high pressure than that.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
