Compression test

when doing a compression test, is it necessary to have the throttle completely open to get an accurate reading?

Yes. The manual specs WOT and a warm engine. Minimum number is 114 psi.

They will run fine on 90.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

I'll attest to that! Rebuilt top end, went from 90psi to 135 psi, no difference.
