There is a much better/easier way to clean the carbon out than taking it apart and cleaning with kerosene.
Run it around till its good and hot. Buy a can of seafoam and a syringe, remove the air screw form the carb and with somebody holding the bike wide open begin injecting the seafoam, get a good half a cup in there going slow enough to keep it running and then start injecting faster till it dies. let the motor sit for 20 minutes, replace the air screw and fire it up, will smoke out a city block but it will clean out all the gunk on your piston and head.

I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Your engine is slowly self-destructing from all the soft siezes. It will continue to get slower and slower, with occasional runs up to higher speeds and soft seizures, until one day when it either won't start, or hard seizes the piston.
Don't believe me? Pull off the head and take a look at your bore, I'd bet you it's already scored up.
Kenny: The problem is not electrical or due to the idle jet. He is leaning out the engine over and over again.

Look at your main jet size and post back. It's written on the jet itself.
First, though, run a compression check on your engine. If it's below 100 PSI, pull the head and take a look inside to assess the situation.
