my feul gage isnt working could it be because the turning signals in the front are not hooked up could this be the problem.

not even close. check the wires near the fuel sender for corrosion.

how do i replace thos wire would i need to drain the gas tank to do anything

no. i suggest you have someone look at it that knows about wiring. test it with a multimeter.

my gauge wasnt working either but when i cleaned my tank i took it out and turn the scooter on and played with it and it started to work

first take out the fuel meter itself (unscrew from the tank) and make sure it's ok. I'm missing the float part so its never worked for me.
