i need the washer and gasket for the spree air screw for 2 carbs . i think this is why i have to plug one of the holes in the air box . i cant find where to get them at . although i did fig out that the spree exaust has a major flaw the 90 deg angle that the pipe bends from the port needs to go. this i will change as soon as i can get some where with a welder .and finaly my bystarter does work but makes my scoot run verry bad runs rite when i disconect it. blah

Your theory doesn't hold water. Mainly because the air screw only effects idle to 1/4 throttle.

Well said.

And I can not only relate, but offer a few of 23 possible reasons, as opined by the Great Shinto Master of Hondasan:

"Motor coughing; autochoke is make rich gas if not carb breathe same time."

"Under seat gas box make drop down hose; weak power and die if clear gravity decreased."

"Cannot motor make back wheel strong if resist wrong amount in odd shape tailpipe."

These and other wise words grace my workbench. I may not fully understand them, but respect nonetheless.

Could be you haven't a clue of what you are doing and your carb is still screwed up. FYI the air bleed can't possibly leak enough air to cause a WOT problem where you would need to block one of the air box inlet holes. It isn't physically possible.

i did block one . the thing is that screw does directly affect wot . heres how come when adjusting that screw it seems like theres a sweet spot that when you find it the bike runs smooth in all positions of throttle. and if its off by a hair the bike will almost 4 stroke at hi rpm like some people call it . so what jet should i use i know its not good to have the air box restricted i have a 65 jet now should i get a 68? and imordering this on tuesday

Listen carefully......You're BSing, pure and simple. You don't know crap about any carb and less than nothing about this one. First you block off an inlet, but your bystarter leaks and your air screw also leaks. These stories just don't work together. The blocked air box would mean the motor is lean, the bystarter leaking would make it rich and the the air screw would make it lean, but only below 1/4 throttle. Either get your stories straight or go away.

Either show a pic or don't bother asking me questions that I would have to be clairvoyant to answer.
