I'm about to buy a card and choke for my spree but I'm not sure if the year of the card makes a differance. I have an 84 spree and the carb is fine but the choke is dead, the choke I'm looking at has the same plug on it but I wasn't sure if there was any differance in year? The seller of the choke and carb isn't sure what year his is and I also wanted to know how to figure the year out? Thanks in advance.

the carb is pretty much the same. 87 has a single wire connector on the choke, and earlyier models just had 2 wire connectors.it doesnt matter you can always wire in the choke to any year and it will work. the colors are the same and there are only 2 wires.
