so frusterated... float assembly..

Post by Justinsane »

hey all.. for the past 5 tries, my float assembly falls into the bowl... making my life a living h...

anyway.. what am i doing wrong? i tighten the float assembly so its tight enough so the float can still move..

or could it be this problem? i always put the float pin in so the black needle part holds the float up, while the bottom end of the float needle goes into that hole.. .is it backwards?

the moped will be totally fine for like 5 minutes.. then all of a sudden turns into crap because the float has fallen.. what to do?

You do have it backwards

The black rubber point goes facing the carb....on the other end it is flat then dips in then back out.....you need to slide that end onto the float so that the float can pull the pin both up and down. Just like this pic noiseguy posted in a diff post.
