As you've advised Wheelman-111, I think I'll whack on the nut to drop the flywheel off its tapered crank of a rebuilt engine. I don't know if this will work but I hope it just don't make it worser for me either. I mean your whacking advise. lol

I'm not a fan of hitting pressed together cranks. A wheel puller and one tap is sort of a must, but anymore....just not a good practice.

Greetings:

I am the Pope of the Scripture of Not Whacking Cranks, but this is one time I think it's OK. All the percussion happens within the Alternator leg of the crank. As long as you don't drop the block and hit the other end on the concrete floor, a tap or two won't hurt the crank.

We really have a scripture called 'rebuilt engines' ?? I'm sure an advice straight from the Pope himself will be 100% accurate. I think for one time I'll go ahead and take the chance.
