So your theory and thinking is to unsolder it regardless if it is bad or not. Also you do not have to unsolder anything to test it. Only a moron would screw up the head light to test it. You are assuming facts not in evidence.

No you are putting words in my mouth bear. He said he couldnt get the headlight apart for one and thats how you get it apart. I just sorta figured he already knew how to test to see if it was any good before he went through the trouble. I already know for certain mine is bad

If you dont know andy, you can test the bulb by touching a multitester to the ends of the wires where they hook into the bulb, if the hands move the bulb is good ground is green I believe and white and blue are hot
