yes i hold the brake and then try to start it, i have spark at the spark plug now and the engine turns over but it will not start and hasnt started at all..when i take the spark plug out(which is brand new) the gap is covered in gas/oil...i have already taken the carburetor about and cleaned it and emptied the gas tank today and put new gas in and cleaned the 2 hoses coming from the tank but still not running?? soo close to getting her running and riding.. any more suggestions

Guessing does not get the job done. Not enough compression and it will never start. Check it right.

Don't twist the throttle when you push the start button and read the manual like Bear said.

i did a compression test today and it was right around 100...still not running i was thinking it could be a bad fuel-oil mixture because when i take the spark plug out the gap is sometimes filled with what looks like mostly oil

i have had my gfs dad working on my spree and he said he had gotten it started for a few seconds and that was it...he believes the problem is in the wiring because it still turns over and that is it tho...new spark plug has been tried, tried a lil gas in the spark plug hole, new gas...sometimes when trying to start it it does nothing until you wiggle the wires down by the starter relay (which is new)...it has been a few months and still havent gotten to ride it yet
