Thats how you know its on compression stroke, thats all.

Sorry, should have clarified, my above lost is regarding the youtube method, not the timing marks.

as of right now I have to get new valve adjustment screws and a kickstart gear because the SOB backfired while trying to kick start and chipped teeth off the d*** thing and the electric start doesnt have enough power for it to crank for some reason!

Okay... I have everything installed...06 intake valve..08 exhaust valve. I have the throttle rolled back. Ans I tried a little starting fluid for primer. Nothing.. at.. all. Exhaust just goes poof poof poof. I have a 50mm bbl with 105 jet and 32 idle jet. Please helppp.

How's the compression? If compressions good, has spark, has starting fluid, then it's timing or valve issue or Could be cam issue, is it the stock cam or one from the kit? Sorry there's a few variables, also 32 pilot is small go for 35 or 38

I would only run 90 jet in it if stock air box also

The bike has a whole lot more compression. The timing is perfect. Flywheel is on the T. Two holes are lined up. Has spark. And the kit didn't come with a cam so its stock cam.
