Ok, pulled the bowl and removed the jet. no numbers indicate it's size. on top of that, I pulled the stock carb and again no number. I don't believe the issue is the carb as the problem was the exact same after replacing with a brand new carb. The scooter does not sputter it just dies and if I keep full throttle it will kick back on but I have to pull over and feather the throttle until it has regained necessary fuel. The only thing I can think of at this point is some type of crank seal leak or bad reeds but I 've taken the reeds out and flipped them with no change.

just to reiterate

New carb
new oiled filter
new spark plug 2x's - shows signs of lean
120 psi preasure
correct oil - even mixed gas at one point just to be sure
confirmed petcock working correctly by bypassing and directly running fuel via a funnel with no change.

Also no leaks/cracks in manifold or air box. I've done this about 30+ times with the same result. run at full throttle runs and sounds good and then it is running out of gas as it dies consistenly. Old carb worked just fine before last year at the beginning of the year had a bad battery so replaced it, put a new spark plug, air filter and carb with no change in the issue.

have you tried running it without the gas cap, to rule out plugged venting in the tank. If it can't draw air it won't allow fuel flow.

Yes, I've done both a cap off and taped a funnel directly to the gas line with the same result. Also has a new fuel filter.

Maybe check your muffler or exhaust port for partial restriction. It's a long shot but who knows.

Did that too. no help same results just louder. I ordered new reeds I'll see if that impacts the starting issue.

Did you vacuum or pressure check your engine?
