I figure i will wait on the clutch springs to see how it is going to perform with the 7g weights and 1500 center spring once i get the carb dialed in right. Got the clutch spring changed pretty easy but i had to take the kicker cover off and the drive face to get the thing back on with the belt. I noticed my variator was closed with wear primarily on the farthest edges so I slide the variator out and wouldnt you know...somehow 2 of the rollers had gotten caught and wedged at the outside of the ramp so my vari was staying at high gear I imagine that is why my take off has been almost nonexistant till i get the rpms up, fine on the stand but with load ...*. Its drizzling rain so I didnt try to start it didnt want to get rain in my carb with that free flow filter so I imagine from all the research I have done reguarding the variator and clutch that this has been my primary reason for low end power loss because the variator couldnt adjust to compensate. Will know for sure after it stops raining but the forecast is rain today and tomorrow. I sure hope I can go for a ride without it dieing at stop and go picks up quicker than it has :D
You still can't fix your own scooter but feel qualified to dispense advise to other? Your arrogance knows no bounds. :jack:

Too stupid to learn still I see. Oh and you are a lair too. You are obviously reading my post or you would not know how to respond. You and your twin, swimming dyslexic, really don't have a clue.

40 on the flat sooo far :D at about 1/2 throttle or so no more than 3/4th :D In some of my posts it may sound as if my scooter doesn't run at all but it does fine for the most part I just want to fine tune it so that the accel and throttle response are smooth all the way through plus I am being extremely careful with my new bore since i dont have a tach or temp gauge. Have you tried fixing your Spree yet?

Guys, please tone down your personal interactions and maintain technical content. There are guidelines available for review, and ways to feedback in less confrontational means. Ideal mentoring occurs at a level which generates curiosity, insight and understanding.

Where's the rule that requires these nitwits have even an idea of what they are talking about before they post?

That sounds good to me mousewheels as you can see I have already posted previously that I will no longer be viewing posts from bear that may give me cause to use foul and or harrassing language in the threads though everything I have said to him I only did so in defense after being provoked. I believe there should be some course of action for those who intentionally disrupt the order of the forum with insults and underhanded comments. Bear has been a member of this forum longer than most people here and I can respect that but one bad apple spoils the barrell and I have had all I can stomach of being harrassed almost on a daily basis.

Like I said, where the rule to keep the morons from posting BS? Because they cause everyone problems with their lies and misinformation. But PC prevents most people from calling a fool a fool, even though he KNOWS he is a fool but will not admit it. Oh and at least I don't go crying to mamma when my feeling get hurt like an 8 year old little girl.

mwwhahahha The variator stuck in high gear was definately my problem I imagine the whole time since I havent taken the drive train apart in a while. Would explain no power until after 15mph though my jet needle was the problem with the stock carb because I had to lean it all the way out and I wasnt kewl with riding her like that. I had to take my kickstart apart it was binding after i put everything back together so i had to completely disassemble it. the ring clip was worn allowing the gear to push farther in the case causing the big spring to bind. took her for a spin with the clip one up from bottom but had liquid at the tail so i figured that was rich and I didnt like how many RPMs the engine had to reach to move the clutch with the 1500 spring soooo I took it back apart again and put the stock spring back in and moved the clip to the middle. Now she has plenty of power all through the powerband. I am thinking about mixing 6s and 7s to try and get instant acceleration from stop instead of a 3 to 5 second delay. I can actually feel the "shift" compared to the Spree engine with my variator stuck it was like riding my stock Spree hahahha at any rate got her up to around 40 on the str8 flat then pulled over to check temps around 125 at the header side of the head and 175 at the backside and around 250-290 on the actual pipe under the little shield still a little fluid at the end of hte tail pipe maybe its just what was already there. did a plug chop when i got home after about 2 mile run and hte mix area was a glazed brown so it is a tad rich but wont worry about it till i get my jets then i can fine tune. going to take the front fork off and drill a hole above and below my weld and hammer in some steel pins to make sure it doesnt let loose on me, i didnt tighten the big bolt and the front end wobbles :D I am stoked

You know most of us go on here to see what others are building and sometimes give some helpful input. Witch also can help others on there builds. But I think when others see people fighting and cutting each other down they look at this board like it is :bs: . Also are you so immature that when you are asked to stop (bear) you just keep going.
