i'm not saying you wrong so please don't take it that way. if it was obstructed would the bowl be able to get fuel?

Yes, the float bowl inlet is the needle and seat while the main jet and emulsion tube a a couple of outlets to the engine.

i took the umulsion tube out. the holes were open but i cleaned it anyway. i went ahead and cleaned the carb again since i had it off too. i put everything back together and it ran perfect for about 5 min then when i went past 1/4 throttle it fell falt on its face again. I took the head and jug off, the piston rings are bad. the piston itself and some brown marks on the side and a lot of carbon on the top. since the compression was only 110 could this be my whole problem?

you should take some pictures of this stuff so we can get a better idea of the problem. its normal for the piston to have carbon on it. could probably use new rings after such a long time but if the cylinder and piston have no visible scratches or grooves you can catch your fingernail in i would say they are fine

the cylinder probably just needs to be honed a little. the piston on the other hand is in pretty bad shape.

The compression is an issue but not causing the 1/4 throttle problem. However old fuel lines could be the cause this by coming apart inside the hose. This is why I always replace all fuel, oil and vacuum lines with new clear lines. New so they will withstand today's fuels and clear so you can see what is going on.

if your seals are bad and you dont get new ones all your going to do is fry the bbk ..if i was you i wood get the thing running a lot better before you spend the money just to fry it ... with a bbk you need to think about a lot more then just putting it on if you dont regear it you will over reve it and fry it .. if you dont put a little oil in the gas you will fry it ..if the ex pipe is full of carbon you have gain nothing .. you better off rering it for 27 doller and getting the bugs out of it and you need to read more and lear more about these thing .. as i see it you mite as well put you money in a pile and burn it because that what your going to to innhow..

you said it ran better after you clean the carb ..what did you mean ..faster??? and if so how munch ??
what coler is the spark plug???
how heve is the ex pipe if its full you will not get the speed out of it .. if you think im full of it on this run and breath out just you nose and see how fast you run....
hoese are cheep and your loco dealer has them..if there roting on the inside you will get crap in the carb ..
oil seals are cheep as well but are a litter harder to put in a lot of tear down ..
hope this info will help us figer what is going on with you bike..

after i cleaned the carb it didn't run any faster but i could turn the throttle all the way open for about a min or so.instead of 2 seconds.
spark plug was black and had oil on it. I replaced it.
the exhaust is drilled all the way open.
I'm going to try to get the oil seals and new hoses tomorrow.
when i took the head off the gasket was bent bc the piston was hitting it. Hopefully i can get a head gasket tomorrow too.
