87 Honda 50 not running

No, it did not come with a new ramp plate unfortunately. I would have thought so. On my picture. Those two parts are the same correct?

the two movable drive face one is bigger then the other??? wright????
if so you cant use the ramp plate on it ....

They both are identical. They weigh the same and they look the same. Even the rollers are the same weight. Someone must have changed this before.

then you more then likely got a stock one .... not a after marked one that come with a ranp plate that will give you more speed like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Elite-S-S ... 564a7f9edf it come with a after market ranp plat..
its sold buy a form member called tazland001 if you have question pm him ...
if you put it back togather clean out all the grease and dont put the backing plate back on....

If you look at the picture, The aftermarket one that i bought is the same as the one that was on the bike. The ramp plate is the only thing that did not come with the kit i bought so i just ordered it.

the link i posted is a larger one then stock ... and with the new ramp plat will close up more and will give you more top speed with this one and a new jet you will get to 35 to 40mph ...

try it with the ramp plat you have ... i have a rusk one in my se50 and it is a bigger one and i gain about 5 mph ...
if you want to get all you can the ramp plat is going to help you out ... the curve on the se50 is more then the se50p

that will bring the vearater closer together and give you more speed

you can see the old before and the after on the movable drive face ...



that exter 1/4 of gain will give you more speed ..
my ramp came out of a dio motor maybe someone will sell you one on here ..

the 85 jet is good if your running the stock air box ..
other thing you can do to pick up a little speed a 90/90/10 tire if you want you can get a 3.5 in there but it may need a little work to get it in and you may need to grind the case yo stop it from rubbing at top speed ..

circumference
2.75 = 48.69
3.5 = 53.40

you need to find out if you have the 10 to 1 or the 11 to 1 final drive .... the se50p is not a good anser mine came with a se50p jet and a se50 final drive ..
