Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

i was just wondering if you can help. i have a 1987 spree. it will start up and idle for about 10-15 seconds then stalls. it will stall even when applying throttle.if you cover the intake on the carb it will stay running as long as you constantly take your hand on and off it. gas tends to come out of the intake when you do this.the carb has been cleaned and i am pretty sure i got everything.there is no air cleaner ang gas is always flowing from the petcock.it doesnt work on vacume anymore its constant.i would greatly appreciate any help you can offer.thank you.

I just caught the fact that you don't have an air filter installed. You NEED it.
