I have a 1986 honda spree moped. I have checked the bulbs and the power but i still cannot get my left turn signal to work properly. The right turn signal works fine, and the rear left signal light stays on, while the front left signal light does not turn on. Any Ideas?

Check the socket too, both the center contact for +12v with signal on. And ground side from bulb to battery negative terminal.

That's usually the sign of a bad bulb. However, if you swap the bulbs around and still have the same issue on that side, check to make sure you have power to that lamp holder - could be a loose or broken wire.

EDIT: Ah mousewheels, you beat me to it while I was composing my reply!

If you're sure the front/left bulb is OK, remove the front panel (over the steering post and horn), and check the wiring connector. It's likely loose or disconnected.

Swapping light bulbs around will make you crazy. Buy new bulb and install on the bad side. They are cheap and then you know the bulbs at both ends are good, because it only takes one bad bulb to stop the blinking on one side. Oh and both sides use the same flasher. Since one light is on the switch is good.

Sometimes a bulb will look good but be bad. I just tore my wiring harness up on one looking for a problem that was not there. Turned out that a bulb that looked perfectly good... was not. Now I gotta rewrap my wiring harness.
