Greetings:

I saw a pipe on JiangWayne's site recently. Few-to-none other bolt-on upgrades except the belt-drive system and your own talent applied to the intake manifold and case/cylinder porting. It's not a bad scooter, roughly 40 MPH stock in good tune. Definitely one of the classic early Hondas, and rare. If you need faster and are patient, you can always... Here it comes:

Dude! Swap in a Dio!!

Ok I think I am going to have to steal this thread for a moment to ask the obvious dumb question. What is a Dio?

Greetings:

See "What Engine Code Did You SA?" thread stickied in Performance Technical. There never was a real "Dio" model in the US, but Scooter Cognisenti have usurped this model name to describe the later AF16E Elite engines (1994-2001) and distinguish it from the earlier Elite (1987-1993) and the later Aero models. Honda kept changing scooter design, then engine design, but the new models he introduced were often equipped with the last-generation engines.
