the odd question

can I get more throttle by milling the throttle sleeve at the top? this would allow greater range. Is there a point that higher makes no diff or impede proper function. i have a few extra I might give it a try.

No.once the bottom backside of the slide clears the the hole thats it.if it goes up more it will create turbulance because you will be exposing the flat sections where the slide is and airflow will be restricted.I'm tell this from experience and its been done.
