what do you guys think?
is there anyway to bypass the ignition to see if it will start? before i go out and buy parts for to see if it will run and if everything works.

Plans for it are.
[]get it running
[]registered
[]63cc big bore kit
[]custom cyl. head work
[]ported and polished
[]bigger carb
[]Posh high output coil
[]convert to Pre-mix
[] rear shock
[] slam it
[] remove center stand and add side stand

in the end i want it to look somethiong like this with lights and street legal.

pic's belong to redrucker over on totalruckus.com

is the starter button doesnt work then you could find where the starter wire plug is on the harness and run direct to the battery.

oh by the way what a great find!!! wish i could find one of those free!! or even a gyro.!! even if it doesnt run right off the bat. its worth putting the money into it,you got it free so make it run and enjoy it!!

you can talk to marc here on the forums, give him the code off of the ignition, and he'll make you a key. I forgot how much, but it was cheap.

Nice scoot! I paid $180.00 for mine in that shape.

Now make it look purdy!
I'd rather be riding my Aero!

No kick start on a 85 Aero, but like you said otherwise it would work.

Greetings:

If it's an Elite 50, the engines should be close to identical and your kickstart will swap to the '85 Aero.
