1986 Spree replacement carb

Post by leadfoot »

Could someone please tell me if this carb will work on our Honda Spree. (NQ50)

50cc, 70cc, 90cc, 110cc, 125cc "Honda Style" Carburetor with 19 mm Intake and Left Side Manual Choke.

The carb that came on the scooter is cracked beyond repair.
I'm having difficultiy finding an exact replacement.
The carb that is on the scooter now does not have a manual choke.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mike.

I have a good working one that I just cleaned, I'd be willing to sell.

A 19 mm carb is way to big for a stock Spree, since the stock carb is a 14 mm. No Spree came with a manual choke. All had bystarters. If you want a manual choke on your stock carb the following item will work.

No I didn't really want a manual choke.
That is one of the only carbs that came up when I did a search on a few of the parts web stores.
The Scooter is stock and really like to keep it that way.
Any other recamondations as to where to find a carb for this scotter?
Thanks, Mike.

Why not the carb from martynkim? Probably your best bet.
