Describe the fuel gage seal in tank.

Hi All,

I need to make or otherwise procure a seal for the fuel gage opening in the tank. If someone could describe the shape, maybe take some measurements. Is it a flat disk, like the filler cap, or a different shape?

The very bad part drawing at bike bandit seems to indicate a cylindrical shape. Mine came without one of anykind, probably consumed by the rust monster in the tank!
