HELP AGAIN

hey yall its me again with a brand new question ok so i followed yall tips with the carbertour and clean it a all that crap but i tried to start it and now it wont even start and i think gas is leakn but anyways please help me and like i said it wont start thanks

If the carb is leaking gas, is it leak around the float bowl or is it leaking inside the throttle bore? If it is around the float bowl, you probably dinged the gasket/"O"ring and need to replace it. If it is in the throttle bore and I think that's what you are saying then the needle is not seating properly. Which means you have to disassemble the carb again. Three things can cause this issue.

1) Bad needle tip and it needs to be replaced.

2) Leaking float and it will have gas inside of it. You also have to replace it, if bad.

3) The seat in the carb where the needle seats against, is rough or has crap in it. Clean the crap out and install an inline fuel filter to prevent it from happening again. Or the seat itself is rough from corrosion and you need to polish is with tooth paste and a Q-tip.

No engine runs well or at all with too much fuel pouring down the intake. Same applies with no fuel or not enough fuel going through the intake.

A warmed up engine needs about 14 to 1 fuel and air mixture for proper operation. For cold start they need around 18 to1 to 20 to 1. Anymore than that and you get no run.

this is a spree right? its not gonna go up hill fast at all,due to the single speet transmisson that it has.

ya it is spree but b4 it stop workn it went ok up a hill like at least 5mph but now i have to givec it a push ya kno any way to fix it

Well that is odd even going 5 mph is pretty slow for up hill. This must be one steep * hill.

Sounds like an airbox leaking all to *.

air box leaking or make sure carb is tight to intake tube
