87 elite motor swap

i got a 87 se50p and the motor needs to be rebuilt but i thought instead of that or buying a diff scooter altogether are there any other faster/better motors that i could swap mine out for also a kickstart would be nice idk why but my scoot doesnt have one even though i know its supposed to would those with more experence help me out here

Throw on a dio from a 94+ elite, perfect foundation for some go fast parts

would that be like a plug and play type deal just bolt it up to the existing mount and everything or does something need to be modified and sweet pic and what all would i need to do the swap besides the motor of course

Rewire the plugs by matching colors (very easy), I don't like hacking my harness so I rewired the stator plug on the motor and left my bike untouched.
You need to grab 2 extra sleeves/dowels from the kicker case (or just go without your existing ones) to shim the motor mount bolt.
