engine temps

Post by killerpancake »

I've been searching through the forum but couldn't find anything on what the engine temp usually sits at on a Honda spree when running. Does anyone know?
If it don't fit, force it. If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway.

Ok, so the reason i ask is because im getting a programmable temp gauge, you can program it to set your own temps for overheating and being cold, so i just need an idea of where HOT would be set at. I think 215 is operating temp, and above 240 is overheating... or is it 200 is operating temp and 215 is overheating... i really don't know for sure.

Those temps are for watercooled. 370 would be your danger zone for a cast bore.aluminum 410. Keep in mind that if your running cheapo 2 stroke non synthetic then those temps will be a little lower.
Nothing like getting stroked!

Thanks for the info. I assume this is correct info since no one is correcting you. thanks.
