Bad crankshaft for SE50

Hi all,
It seems my crankshaft on my SE50 motor is stripped. I replaced the variator and locked the nut back in place. A couple days later I heard a odd sound so I opened up the engine case to find the flywheel was loose and the nut that locks the flywheel in place would not lock, it just kept spinning. My question is what is the options I have to repair the crankshaft? The local scooter shop is asking for $300 for labor only.
I have looked around for a dio motor but have not been lucky enough to find one.

Thanks,
Tk

You can also take your chances on fEeBaY. Use your cases and transplant the crank and bearings (2700 miles believed) or polish up the Oxidation and save the case-splitting agony.

Thanks wheelman. I will see what I need to do. taking the bike into the shop this week. Hopefully they'll be an alternative to replacing the crankshaft. If it does need replacing i will pick that up from you. Thanks for your help.
