was changin my spark plug today and while i was twisting the throttle i seen my oil pump moving... i have the SYM with the cable controlled pump. cant figure out why its loose. all the bolts are tight but the metal piece that goes through the oil pump to hold it in place can move around. the bolt that holds it on is tight but the pump can wiggle around.
would this cause air leaks and cause me to run lean?
do i just need a new piece thats holds the oil pump in place?
hopefully this didn't/doesnt screw up my crank. i can already hear an abnormal sound when i let of the throttle and it revs back to ilde. just before idle it makes a wierd noise like something inside the case is loose.

is the o-ring in place?
I don't mod my scooters to go Fast, just want to keep it running!

Dunno SYMs, Dawg, but on all the Hondas I've seen there are two bolts. One vertical into the channel for the "special" nut, the other horizontal, with the bolt head facing the exhaust. Maybe just missing that one?the metal piece that goes through the oil pump to hold it in place can move around. the bolt (emphasis added) that holds it on is tight
