Won't bolt up without an adapter. The mounting bolt spread of the stock carb is small. At best it is 43mm if it is a PB carb. The Aero 125 carb is 48mm spread.

Interesting claim since the 16 mm PB carb on the DIO is a 43 mm mounting bolt spread (I had one but sold it to a member) so you are wrong. * even the 16 mm PB carb on the Aero 80 is only 43 mm and the Aero 80 and 125 use the same carb kit.

Trying to teach those that know everything already is impossible. The problem being they don't know much and and understand even less. I give up know it all, go try putting it together, but don't you dare come back and say it doesn't fit, which it will NOT!

I just measured the spacing on a jap spec af27 dio pa carb that was on a stock af18e and it measured 48mm so the bear may well be right when it comes to usa spec carbs but WRONG when it comes to jap spec carbs

You are a Moron too. There is NO PA carb with a 48mm mounting bolt spacing. PB series yes, but no PA series. The PB series has a 43 mm spacing for the smaller carbs and 48 mm for the big carbs. I have a 22mm Keihin PB series carb on my bench right now with the same 48 mm spacing, the same as the 18mm PA carb on the Aero 125.

Either get your s*** together or Image

ugumma wrote:everybody knows the difference between japanese and american. pa is the american one andf pb is the jap one. so no problems there knowing whats going down. its just when you talk about 48mm and 43mm in the same sentence. talking about the same carburetors.
edit; idiot
Again full of crap. The PB carbs showed up on any number of American scooters. Mainly because the PA series is small and the PB series is bigger. Your facts however are not facts, just BS.

Oh and the PB carbs have two different mount bolt spacing available 43mm and 48 mm. But you seem to stupid to comprehend that.

Geez, three post in a row. Glad you can organize your thoughts so well.

Now, the Aero 80 and the Aero 125 both have PB carbs.

The Aero 80 has a PB54 carb rated at 16mm with a 43 mm mounting bolt spread, just like all the smaller PB carbs.

The Aero 125 has a PB02 rated at 18mm with a mounting bolt spacing of 48 mm. I also have a 22 mm Keihin carb with the same mounting bolt spacing.

So wrong again knothead. I will give you this, you are batting a 1000, all wrong.
