I'm not familiar with the OKO specifically, but if its coming out of the overflow with the carburetor vertical, then for some reason, your float needle isn't seated all the way.

Pull the carb off and remove the float bowl, hook up a line with fluid in it while holding the float at the "full level"... you'll see fuel coming out from somewhere...

My bet would be on either:

A: an improperly assembled float assembly.
B: a damaged or dirty seat or needle
C: an improperly adjusted float level.

This carb worked just fine when I used it less than a week ago.

Could shipping it have messed something up.

Can a bad petcock and a full gas tank put too much pressure on the float needle, and make a good carb bad?

no to the last question. fuel pumps can be used on these same carbs with no issues.

how did you check to see where the float level is at? what did you do when you adjusted it?

Here is my choice for checking float level. Quick, easy and accurate.

the gas is even pouring out the mouth of the carb past the filter. :surprise:

this has got to be a float needle problem or the float itself is stuck

Take your carb apart and cleat the float needle seat with a qtip and some tooth paste
